My Client is a leader its industry sector and is now looking to strengthen their team by recruiting two chemical engineers. The successful candidates will be responsible for the design, build, installation and commissioning of chemical processes and systems ensuring a safe and efficient production environment.

You will work closely with process chemists and other engineers to take projects from concept stage to completion and start up of new facilities to meet the company’s expanding product range. You will provide specialist chemical engineering support with process design/ development and the development of new concepts within a Lean manufacturing environment. You will also play a key role in investigating and recommending the introduction of new engineering technologies.

Candidates should be previous chemical engineers who possess significant experience and demonstrated success in plant specification, layout, construction and commissioning. Exposure to a plastic or resin injection field and a knowledge of Lean manufacturing practices, along with working knowledge of Australian standards and experience in liaising with vendors and suppliers are desirable.
