This rapidly expanding company is a specialist leader in the field of providing major air and gas compressors for the Mining, process, Manufacturing and construction industries. They have an enviable global reputation and are currently expanding in Australia and calling for a high achieving Product Manager to use your technical aptitude and outstanding relationship management skills to leverage off existing business partners and manage the NSW region.
The Role
  • Produce and implement market plan to achieve business revenues and targets.
  • Report directly into the Regional Sales Manager.
  • Industrial sales
  • Distributor management and development
  • Working in a high pressure commercial environment
  • Presenting technical and commercial ideas and concepts
  • Managing your own time and priorities in line with team objectives
The Person
To be considered for this opportunity you will ideally have Tertiary qualifications in Engineering are preferred but not essential; however your broad depth of knowledge within the Mining & Manufacturing sectors within Australia will be highly advantageous. To be successful you should have;
  • Proven experience of rotating equipment or process control applications.
  • The ability to speak to senior decision makers with confidence.
  • Passionate about winning and developing new business.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships
  • Experience of compressors, Pumps, Valves, Seals or related Rotating Equipment would be desirable.
  • Knowledge of Mining, Process, Manufacturing industries is essential.
