This rapidly expanding company is a specialist leader in the field of providing major Pumping applications for the Mining, Water & Waste Water and Oil & Gas Sectors. They have an enviable global reputation and are currently expanding in Australia and calling for a high achieving sales engineer to use your technical aptitude and outstanding relationship management skills to leverage off existing business partners and grow the NSW metro region.
The Role
  • Grow and develop business within General Industry and Water and Waste Water.
  • Produce and implement market plan to achieve business revenues and targets.
  • Report directly into the Regional Sales Manager.
  • Identify, develop and negotiate additional contracts and projects.
  • Deliver agreed profit and share objectives.
  • Maximise the portfolio of existing clients.
  • Managing risk and negotiating commercial terms.
The Person
To be considered for this opportunity you will ideally have Tertiary qualifications in Engineering are preferred but not essential; however your broad depth of knowledge within the water and waste water sectors within Australia will be highly advantageous. To be successful you should have;
  • Proven experience of rotating equipment or process control applications.
  • The ability to speak to senior decision makers with confidence.
  • Passionate about winning and developing new business.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships
  • Experience selling Submersible pumps, valves, compressors  is highly desirable.
