Job: SENIOR OHW ENGINEER

I represent a leading consultancy that provides expertise to its clients in the areas of global engineering, project management, and related professional services. The rail division is in a growth phase and they are looking for a Senior Engineer to join their OHW team.

You will be involved in all facets of OHW design (layouts, switching arrangements, conceptual design, CAD etc.), providing technical / design expertise into projects along with project management for a wide range of commissions, delivering projects to budget, time and quality. Typically, projects may include strategic planning studies, feasibility studies, concept and detailed design projects, maintenance plans/reviews and operational studies.

Having at least 8 years experience and a recognised tertiary qualification, you must also have strong CAD skills, preferably with Microstation, along with experience of 1500V DC and 25 Kv AC OHW design.  Membership of a relevant Engineering Institution or other professional body would be highly regarded

You will ideally have a wide knowledge of rail systems and the rail industry, with good marketing/business development skills.  Excellent client relationship and team-working skills are essential for this role.
